So far, Galia and Friends has received and fulfilled a total of 35 grant requests from parents.  Fulfilled wishes included:

16 Mother’s Restorative Spa Days

1 Couple’s Restorative Spa Day

3 Dinner & Movie Date Nights

1 Dinner Package (for 1)

1 Theater & Dinner Package (for 2)

1 Theater & Dinner Package (for 2)

1 Hair Treatment & Dinner (for 2)

1 Sports Night – Knicks (for 2)

10 Local Lunches (at restaurants near hospital)

Each of these requests was made by a parent for something they wished for themselves.  As patterns have emerged for certain types of wishes, Galia and Friends is now creating a dynamic yet specific menu of wish options from which parents will choose in the future.  Having a set menu will enable Galia and Friends to cultivate deeper and longer-lasting relationships with companies who will hopefully begin donating their services.  It will also make the wish fulfillment process significantly easier for the foundation.
